Artist profile
The story so far
Amelia founded Velvet Larkspur Vocals in 2015 after a decade singing backing vocals on arena tours. Her own voice — smoky, precise, and built for big rooms — became the label’s first release and its calling card.
On stage Amelia moves between stripped-back piano sets and full-band soul revues. Critics praise her control in the quiet passages and her release when the horns come in — a dynamic range she coaches into every singer on the roster.
